Looking back, I've realized the work I've enjoyed most has rarely been about communications, marketing or public relations. Those have been important tools, but never the ultimate goal. What has always energized me is helping organizations solve complex problems, build meaningful partnerships and turn ambitious ideas into successful initiatives.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to found companies, lead organizations, serve on executive leadership teams and work alongside CEOs, boards and community leaders on projects that required more than a good strategy or a strong message. Whether launching a statewide initiative, navigating a high-profile development project, building support for a public investment or creating a new nonprofit program, my role has consistently been helping people align around a shared vision and move important work forward.

I've learned that the biggest challenges organizations face are rarely communication problems. More often, they're leadership challenges. They require clarity of purpose, trusted relationships, thoughtful collaboration and the ability to bring together people with different perspectives around a common objective. That's where I do my best work.

Today, I serve as Senior Vice President at Lumen Strategies, where I help clients navigate complex initiatives at the intersection of business, government and community. Alongside that work, I continue to advise organizations on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, partnership development and executive leadership, drawing on more than 30 years of experience across the private, public and nonprofit sectors.

I believe successful organizations aren't defined simply by what they accomplish, but by how they bring people together to accomplish it. My passion is helping leaders create momentum around the ideas, initiatives and partnerships that have the potential to make a lasting impact.
