Winter is coming. Well, at least it is on Game of Thrones. And on the show, that’s really bad news.
For Arizonans, Summer is coming. Which is also bad news, as the temperatures will soon jump well into the 100s. Not exactly everyone’s favorite time of year.
But here at Evans Communications, we enjoy our summers. In fact, summer is one of our busiest times of year, as we prepare for the upcoming fall and spring seasons and work with some incredible PR, marketing and event planning clients. Here’s a quick look at what we do and how we do it.
Public Relations and Marketing
You’ve probably seen some of our recent work with the revitalized Park Central property (above) in Phoenix, which was just on the receiving end of a couple of Best of NAIOP Awards. The public Grand Opening of the project is this weekend, and we’re excited to help our clients Plaza Companies and Holualoa Companies reintroduce this historic property to the community.
Park Central is a good example of what keeps us busy on the PR and marketing front. We’re proud to help amazing clients in a broad spectrum of industries with their PR and marketing needs. And when you sprinkle in the event planning component for something like the Grand Opening, you can really create a buzz.
Event Planning and Logistics
Along with Park Central’s Grand Opening, we’re already ramping up for some fabulous late spring and fall events. They include one of the Valley’s premier M&A networking events for our client Association for Corporate Growth-Arizona (last year’s setup pictured above), the fun-filled “Celebrating Life — Campfires and Marshmallows Gala” for the Southwest Kids’ Cancer Foundation, and a big international conference in Chicago for the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. We’re also working on the 2019 Society of Chairs Gala with our sister company, Frontdoors Media, coming up on May 8 at the Arizona Science Center.
Sometimes we have the opportunity to invent, create and execute events from scratch. Sometimes we’re asked to breathe new life into an existing event. And sometimes we parachute in day-of to make sure everything runs smoothly. But when it comes to events, we do just about everything, big and small. So if you have a big event coming up in fall or even next spring, we can help!
Speaking of ACG Arizona mentioned previously, one of the things we enjoy that’s a bit unusual for a firm like ours is association management. We oversee the day-to-day operations, marketing, networking and events for a number of well-known Valley networking groups. ACG Arizona is one. Charter 100 (above), a high-powered networking group of Valley women community leaders, is another. They’re some of our favorite clients because they give us the opportunity to meet lots of great people.
So, we have a busy summer ahead, but we’d welcome the chance to make your company or organization a part of it. Feel free to reach out if you think we can be of service. And in the meantime, stay cool, and enjoy the Game of Thrones premiere this weekend!
