A Big Week for Our Clients and a Bustling Fall Season Coming Ahead
Whew! That was something. We gotta admit we’re a little tired after this week. This one was a doozy as we had a bunch of great news and stories to share about some remarkable organizations.
First, you may have seen a little something about this:
This was the scene at the announcement on Tuesday of the new $100 million medical campus our client Creighton University is building with the help of our client Plaza Companies at Park Central in midtown Phoenix. More than 300 people came to the event to celebrate the news, which was carried extensively throughout the Phoenix media market (here, here, here and here just as examples).
Then on Wednesday, we were pleased to help our client Treasure House get some great coverage on Fox 10. You may remember this one — the new residence for young adults with developmental disabilities founded by Brenda and Kurt Warner, which is now open and accepting residents. We’re also getting started on the 2019 version of Brenda & Kurt Warner’s Celebrity Game Night — stay tuned for details on this one-of-a-kind event coming February 15, 2019!
Then last night, our sister company Frontdoors Media launched its new print edition at a special event at Saks Fifth Avenue. And in the process, through the generosity of our friends and colleagues, we raised several thousand dollars for The Sauce Foundation, the 501(c)(3) we started in memory of our beloved friend and colleague Mike Saucier. It was a wonderful evening and we are very grateful for the many friends who attended and supported our efforts. Look for the print edition in mailboxes and in some of your favorite local haunts over the next few weeks.
So yeah, that was just this week. Imagine what this fall is going to be like. Fortunately, we have an amazing team...and a couple of announcements to make on that front, as a matter of fact.
First, we would like to welcome our new Creative Director, Erin Garcia, to the team. Erin has already hit the ground running and is doing amazing design work for our client base. And second, we would like to congratulate Jamie Killin on her promotion to Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the firm.
So thank you to everyone who we work with this week and every week — we look forward to helping make more great things happen this fall!
